Sitting on the lawn, eyes closed, breathing in.
Inhaling the solitude, the unsure.
Feeling the breeze quiver under my chin.
The weight of the world carrying an allure.
Sitting on the lawn, eyes closed, breathing out.
Exhaling the burden, the grief, the pain.
Knowing that time is infinite, no doubt.
We are here, together (and not), sane.
Holding on to hope, cherishing the love.
Of those not with us, keeping us above.
